Default How much is it worth?

I saw an ad for a 1970 Chevelle and I was wondering how much it is worth The 350ci engine has been rebuilt, mild cam, new chrome bumpers, cherrybomb, new interior panels, needs nothing for saftey, power steeing and brakes, cowl hood, 3 speed auto 89,000 original miles. Anyways, I just wondering how much you guys think is a reasonable price for this car is. Thanks.

You think so? I couldn't tell much from that one pic with all the reflections. I'm not crazy about it but what was done looks to have been a decent job. I'd say around $10k. Of course it all depends on location, prices vary a lot in different parts of the country.

I know around here it would be 10 to 12k if the body is in good shape. Hard to tell the shape of the body as far as rust under the paint. If I was buying it for a project car I would not pay more then 8k for it, to many things changed to try to put it back to original.

If it was red, yellow, black white ... anything but purple it would easily sell for 10k but being that color is going to mean someone must really like purple to buy it.

The hood and engine are pluses but considering interior needs and probable other stuff, assuming it isnt cobbled together, at 10k it still isnt a great buy.

A non-purple lover prolly wouldnt give more than 6K
