Milan Dragway May 23rd

I just got some info that on May 23, 2010, Milan Dragway in Milan Michigan, will host an event to remember Detroit Dragway. Detroit Dragway was a Dragway that was host to alot of the first NHRA events. Many of the drag racers tried to save the drag strip years ago, by trying to declare it a historical site, but to no avail.

So if you live in the area go out and see some of the long term employees from Detroit working at Milan to celebrate all the wonderful memories from many years ago.

I have a love for Detroit Dragway partly because this is where I did my first drag race and mostly because this is the first place that I met Grumpy. This also might be the first place that I will have my Chevelle at.

Talked to my brother, car is in his trailer, as he was driving to his house this evening. As we were talking he said "I just ran a red light with my trailer on the back end in, front of a cop". Needless to say I hung up, feeling like crap that I was the one talking to him.

Got a call a few minutes ago that he was home, and no ticket, the cop did not even pull him over. Whew !!
