I hope this hasn't been asked already too much. I'm new to wiring and these folks seem decent. Anyone with any experience with the vendor or product?
Thanks,

Never heard of them. We use EZ wire harnesses, the work well and are priced great.

Not sure the direction that you want to take your '65 Malibu, but the below is a link to reproductions of factory style wiring harnesses that should be an easy "plug and play".

AAW makes great plug and play harnesses. Unless your building a custom car that's the way to go.

wow, thanks guys. I didn't know there were so many different vendors for wiring. I appreciate the personal testimony, that usually works best. It looks like American Autowire is more specific for each harness versus some of the others which will send you an entire kit and you hope it all fits. AAW seems to leave out some of the guesswork. Am I right?

Right. The others just provide a fuse block with X number of wires depending on what you're building. You have to lay them out and add the connectors to the end of the wires. The AAW kits are just like the original factory harnesses. Run the harness and plug it in.

Definitely sold on AAW. One awesome Chevelle there Hank, I'm sure you've heard that often enough and you'll hear it again.

I missed this, thanks Ray. It's a 40 footer, could definitely use a paint job but at least I don't get upset over a stone chip, etc.
