Protect-O-Plate long shot

Back in '92 when I first bought my 66 I thought it was great that it came with the Owner Potection Plan book with the Protect-O-Plate in back. I just noticed that it does not match my car. If it matches your car, I would like for you to have that great feeling too. I'm not looking for money but would be willing to trade even-up for mine. Does anyone know how to research serial #s. I would like to know if this 66 is still regestered and to whom so I can get this back in the right glove box.

Can try puting the vin on the internet search and see if anything shows up. If you check with DMV they might do a search, but most likely will not give you any info because of privacy laws. Got a friend at the police department?

Thanks, the orphaned paper work looks like a good place to start. Internet search came up no match.
