speedometer cable length?

Anyone know the length of the cable for a 71 Chevelle? They show 2 different lengths for that year It's a SS with a M22 tranny.

What side of the trans does the speedometer cable thread into? Mine is passenger side, IIRC - the cable is around 80" long.

Mine with a M21 uses a 78" with spedo connection on the right side. If it goes on the left side you can us a 69" cable
