Hello,
First of all I'd like to say that this is an awesome forum and I've already enjoyed reading and looking at all the posts. Especially that 69 Dick Harrell Chevelle! WOW! A little about myself. I'm currently 27. be 28 on Friday. I have two young sons. I've been married for a little over 3 years. Me and my wife are both Veterans of Iraq and Afghanistan. my wife is still active duty Army and I'm a DA Civilian for the Army. Okay now about the cars.
I currently own two Chevelles. a 68 SS clone and a 72 true SS. Both are very straight and stout cars with the 68 being quite a bit more streetable and comfortable for cruising. 68 has a 450HP 383 golens crate engine w/TCI Street Fighter TH400. Runs really good for a street car. Thinking about putting a Richmond 5 speed in it. Like to get some more MPGs out of her. The 72 is a roll cage car with a 406 (not sure on HP quite a bit more power than my 383) and TCI Competition TH400/trans brake w/4000 stall, and 12 bolt rear. (still drive it on the street handles and drives relatively straight lol) I've ran the car in the 1/8th at 6.91 with an average of 7.0s on drag radials. However I rarely get this car out just because i love my 68 so much. I try to keep my boys out in the garage with me all the time. I hope they grow up loving these as much as i do.
I also own a 2011 Harley Ultra Classic that i ride quite a bit. I pretty much enjoy anything that has tires and runs on fuel. Thats about all I have for now. I hope to help out as much as possible on here. Thanks!
