First picture is how it came when I bought it from a friend. It has never been installed but the center piece that comes from the center hub down to the bottom of the wheel is cheap plastic. So, I removed it and capped it off with metal caps for now until I can get that plastic piece to a cnc machine to make it out of aluminum. Do you all like it with or without the center piece?

After going to a Jeep trail driving course years ago, I would be afraid that if I took a corner too quick and the steering wheel came back it could rip off a finger. Especially with the shaping of the wheel at 9 and 3.

Don't get me wrong I think it looks cool.

I would hurt myself for sure if that were in a vehicle of mine.

I think it would look good in the batmobile. Too futuristic looking for a Chevelle. JMHO

That's what I'm looking for Joe, honest opinions. I like it, but I didn't know if it was too modern for a chevelle, even with a resto-mod in plan for her. I plan on keeping the bench seat too, the wife loves it, so I really think it'd be too much for it with a bench seat.

+1 Im also a fan of the stockers in a mostly stock looking car. In a full custom or even just a custom interior I think it would work though. But if you like it, then go for it...

I don't think you have to go with a stock type wheel but I don't care for that wheel at all. Looks more like a weapon, something you would throw at someone to lop their head off.

I have been reserving comment because I didn't want to burst your bubble. Now that a few have sort of done it already, lemme have a crack at ya. :D

It just doesn't look right to me. It might fit well in a lowrider mini truck finished in flat black paint and tribal flames or something, but not a Chevelle.

Sorry, Billy.

So, you're saying it's perfect for road rage?

Thanks everyone for the honest opinions, that's what I was looking for. I'll stick with what is on there for now and keep my eye out for non-weapon steering wheels in the future lol.

I was on the edge on what to do with it, I like the wheel and got it cheap but wasn't sure what it'd look like installed. I may still put it on to see what it looks like, interior is still a ways down on my to-do list for the turtle though. Figured I'd see what popular opinion thought.
