The weather here was awesome today and we decided to take out Davids Jeep and my car. My 12 yr old son was outside with his Ipod and snapped a couple of pics. They are not the best quality, but I told him that I would post them.

I hope everyone else, here in Michigan and everywhere else, was able to enjoy some time with their car today.

Is the stripe a Heavy Chevy or some type of custom stripe? Looks great

I always liked the Heavy Chevy stripes on a Chevelle, but I wanted something a little bolder. It is a custom stripe. Me, David, Eric (my brother) and Glenn (the painter) all talked about what I wanted. I told them that I wanted something that kinda followed the body line behind the door, bolder in the back and thinner in the front. I also wanted to outline it, and decided instead of using a contrasting color that I wanted it the same as the stripe. I also wanted just a small amount of metal flake in the silver paint. And I am really happy with the way it came out.
