66 Chevelle 12 bolt 4:11 w/ Detroit EZ Locker, complete w/axles, brakes, drums, etc. Also new in box, seals, bearings, crush sleeve, Moser "C" clip eliminator kit. Unit has been media blasted, pressure washed, and painted black. It is apart for inspection.

Unit is located in Matthews ( near Charlote ), NC 28104 Will crate and ship for cost, but perfer local PU.

Make offer/or trade for what have you

Because this 1966 stock width is a couple of inches narrower than the 71 SS that it was in when I purchased it, I have decided to go with a 9" and truck arm rear suspension. This unit has less than 2,000 miles since build, never raced and works great. I could pull the front wheels with street tires and a 3,500 stall w/TH350. I am having trouble posting pics, so if they don't post, drop me an e-mail, and I will send you pics.

Did you sell your rear? If not, what are the date codes on the center and axle housing?

FYI...the OP is one of these clowns that posts an ad and never returns to it. :(
His last visit to this site was on 12-13-10
He has never answered my PM.

There are a lot of forums that do not allow classified postings until after a certain post count has been reached. This policy prevents threads such as this one from leading people on.

The biggest problem with that is, that the software has got to be hacked, and we will not alter the software that way. We did attempt something like that with another site and it ultimately caused a lot of problems and the site to shut down.

Now what we can do, is to figure out how we can moderate this type of posting ourselves. It can be done. And maybe we need to set some guidelines. But I do not like the "hit and run" ads as much as the next guy. If you would like to be able to moderate the classified forum get a hold of me and we will talk.
